BAYTOWN PROJECT ANNOUNCEMENTS
FOR 2000

Bailey Steel Service -  

David Bailey announced plans to build a 16,000 sf, $780,000 facility to house a steel service supply company in Cedar Crossing Business Park.  Will open with eight employees and projects growth to 25 employee its second year.  Construction to be completed by June 1, 2000. (The Baytown Sun, 2/29/00)

Innovative Recycling Solutions -   

announced plans to build a $17 million tire recycling facility on a 20-acre site adjacent to the Chambers County Incinerator.  The plant will employ 34 people and is scheduled to begin construction in the 1st Quarter 2001. (9/25/00)
