BAYTOWN PROJECT
ANNOUNCEMENTS
FOR
2004
- Wal-Mart

announced plans to build and operate a massive distribution
center in Cedar Crossing Business Park in Baytown, West Chambers County.
Wal-Mart will begin construction of a 2 million square foot distribution
center on a 296 acre site. Facility should be in operation by summer
2005 and will employ 300-400 people. (The Baytown Sun, February 18,
2004)
